4 + years overall experience in the game character creation.
Strong knowledge & understanding of human and animal anatomy, with an eye for accurate proportions, form, and details.
Strong drawing and rendering skills for the creation of character concepts and the communication of ideas.
familiarity with Xbox 360 & PS3 capacities for displaying skeletal mesh geometry & highly detailed materials.
Strong working and technical knowledge of 3dsMax9, and PhotoshopCS, is a must.
Ability to digitally sculpt/model & texture both High & Low polygon characters to a high level of quality using Z-Brush, or Mudbox.
Thorough understanding of the production and development cycle.
UnrealEngine 3 experience is preferred.
Post secondary degree/diploma/certificate in 3D, animation, fine arts or equivalent work experience.
Must provide Demo Reel, on CD or DVD, and be prepared to present a portfolio that is representative of your current level of ability in Concept Design, Modeling and Texturing.
Junior Environment Artist x 2 (October)
2+ years overall experience in the game environment creation.
Strong knowledge & understanding of fundamental level layout and design issues and techniques
Strong drawing and rendering skills for the creation of environment and prop concepts and the communication of ideas.
familiarity with Xbox 360 & PS3 capacities for displaying environmental mesh geometry & highly detailed materials.
Strong working and technical knowledge of 3dsMax9, and PhotoshopCS, is a must.
